Composers are invited to submit their originals in four sections – #2, #3, h#2 and s#2-6 (free themes) for the formal tourney The League of The Macedonian Problemist 2014 to: Zoran Gavrilovski, P. fah 137, Skopje MK-1001, Macedonia (e-mail: mprobl@yahoo.com) by 1.7.2014.

Ausschreibung des Jubiläumsturniers zum 60. Geburtstag von Michael Schlosser

Thema: Varianten-Asymmetrie
1)  In einem Schachproblem mit beliebiger Forderung (inklusive Märchenschach aller Art und Studien) darf die Diagramm-Stellung symmetrisch oder asymmetrisch sein.
2)  Nach dem eindeutigen Schlüsselzug oder nach jedem von mehreren Schlüsselzügen (bei Problemen mit mehreren Lösungen oder mit Zwillingen) ist die Stellung symmetrisch.
3)  Unmittelbar nach jedem Schlüsselzug folgt wenigstens ein Paar zueinander symmetrischer Züge (Symmetrie-Achse dieser Züge = Symmetrieachse der Stellung).
4)  Die jeweiligen Varianten nach jedem solchen symmetrischen Zugpaar sind asymmetrisch.

Evgeny Fomichev-50 JT, C 1 VI 2014

To celebrate his 50th birthday, StrateGems is organizing E. Fomichev-50 JT in two sections: threemovers and moremovers (4-10 moves only) with a subsection for miniatures. The tourney also commemorates Alexander Galitsky and the 150th anniversary of his birthday. His book (in two volumes), written by Evgeny Fomichev and Kirill Urusov, will be awarded to 1st prize winners. Other prize winners will receive books from the library of StrateGems. The prize winners in miniatures will receive small Khokhloma souvenirs.

Schach-Drachen Isernhagen present the Sven-Hendrik Loßin 35 JT. Selfmates of any length are asked for which show a theme which is typical for studies but rather untypical for selfmates or which for some other reason are studylike. You can refer to a specific study in your entry. Be keen and imaginative in your explanation why your selfmate is studylike.

Prize fund is 200,- Euro and will be distributed by judge Sven-Hendrik Loßin (minimum 20 entries that fulfill the theme needed otherwise the prize fund is possibly reduced). First prize is min. 50,-€.

Die Schach-Drachen Isernhagen präsentieren: 35 JT Sven-Hendrik Loßin.
Zum bevorstehenden 35. Geburtstag von Sven-Hendrik Loßin veranstalten die Schach-Drachen Isernhagen folgendes Thematurnier: Gefordert sind Selbstmatts jeder Zuglänge, die ein Thema zeigen, das typisch für die Studie, aber untypisch für das Selbstmatt ist oder die aus anderen Gründen studienähnlich erscheinen. Man kann dabei gerne auf eine Studie als Vergleichsstück verweisen. Seien Sie ruhig mutig und fantasievoll bei der Begründung des studienhaften Inhalts.

Der Preisfonds beträgt 200,- Euro und wird vom Preisrichter Sven-Hendrik Loßin aufgeteilt. Der erste Preis, so er denn vergeben wird, erhält dabei mindestens 50,- Euro. Der Preisfonds wird reduziert, wenn weniger als 20 turnierfähige Stücke eingehen.

Theme: In the set play, there are mates on one and the same square in response to different black moves. Key move must be made to that square (key on the set-mate-square) with changed mates.
Enlargement of thematic variations in the set play and try-play (tries) with first move on thematic square are welcomed as well as a quiet key move (without capturing of a black pawn).
